Vantaan Rahtikeskus Oy – or Vantaan KTK – is a transportation and warehousing company owned
by independent entrepreneurs who also operate as transportation contractors for Rahtikeskus.
We have combined the all-inclusive quality service of a big transportation company and the
enthusiasm of independent entrepreneurs since 1959.

Our turnover was over 31 Million Euros in 2010. This was achieved with around 200 contractors
and 350 vehicles.

Rahtikeskus has certified ISO 9001 quality standard and is certified ISO 14001
environmental standard.

Transportation Services

All our services are suitable both for businesses and private customers. From our versatile selection
of transportation equipment and services we can provide the right transport or logistic solution for
all needs. The scope of our services ranges from the full outsourcing of operations to the delivery of
individual parcels.

No assignment is too small or too big for us.

Rahtikeskus has many different types of delivery equipment: anything from vans to full trailer
combinations. We also have an excellent selection of platform trucks with different addon equipment
and cranes, which will take care of your variable construction site service needs. Our trucks with
interchangeable containers will take care of your garbage. We also have a good selection of
dump trucks with 3-, 4- or 5 axles or with semi- or full trailer for transportation of soil, quarry,
asphalt or snow. We have also enclosed tail-lift trucks with thermo storage option and
transportation for ADR-classified goods.

Logistics solutions

Rahtikeskus operates mostly within the Metropolitan Area of Finland, but we also have extensive
long distance transportation routes all over Finland as well as to Sweden, Denmark and to
Western Europe.

Rahtikeskus offers comprehensive and flexible solutions for logistics management. We are experienced
in customising our services to meet the needs of our customers. We are also willing to use our
customer’s logistic solutions to full extent. The most extensive solution available from Rahtikeskus is
outsourcing the entire logistics process.

Warehouse & Terminal Services

Our extensive transportation network is supported effectively by our warehouse-terminal. In the
terminal truck loads can be unloaded and re-loaded and products can be transferred for local distribution,
or we can collect goods to be sent forward in a bigger unit.

The warehouse-terminal is situated in the city of Vantaa in the centre of Finland’s Metropolitan area
near the harbour of Helsinki. The warehouse-terminal is dry, heated, secure and our opening hours are
extremely flexible. Our warehouse-terminal services are suitable for all industries and consumers.

We offer also the possibilty to rent a dustproof box (3 m³) for more delicate goods.This is perfect for e.g.
temporary storage of household effects.
